Sarah --I began regularly practicing yoga in 2012 after the birth of my third child. I found yoga to be a safe form of movement for my post partum body and my yoga mat became my sanctuary as I battled depression from 2012 through 2016. On days when I couldn’t will myself to lift even a 5 pound dumbbell, yoga, and my therapist,  provided a safe space for me to be exactly who I was and feel exactly what I needed to feel. Once I was on the other side of depression, I discovered a passion for not only continuing to practice yoga, but to share my experience and practice with others. I received my yoga teacher certification in classical-eclectic Hatha yoga from Yoga High in Denver in September of 2018 and have been teaching regularly ever since. My training emphasized alignment and the use of props to get the most out of each pose. I teach a variety of classes including Vinyasa (flow), Yin (slow stretch), Vin-Yin (combo of flow & stretch), and meditation. I love the connection that develops naturally in yoga classes, and have found great joy in helping others become more aware of their physical body and get more in tune with their emotions, practicing on the mat what they would like to cultivate off the mat.
I have been married to my gorgeous husband, Jerome, since 2002. We have three sons - Ethan, Aaron, and Jonathan. I am currently homeschooling my younger two sons. When I’m not teaching my kids or teaching yoga, you can find me reading, hiking, or in the kitchen baking up a storm. I bake and decorate cakes for all types of celebrations, enjoy a good mystery, and am currently studying to expand my yoga practice to include self-compassion and body positivity.

Angela- After struggling with weight and personal issues, I was in a dark place. I didn't know how to be happy. I tried many things to lose weight and to be myself again, but I always gave up. My husband and I moved to Colorado in 2016. I wanted to feel better about myself and enjoy life again. I found Andrea through a posting about Pound class. Not too long after taking my first class, my life started to change. I was shown love, support, motivation and I realized I could be happy again.
I've lost weight, done workouts, learned how to eat better, and found a family.
Now that I'm in a better place, I want to help others feel better as well!

Tara- I never thought much about my weight. I knew I was overweight but I wasn’t terribly unhappy. I guess I’ve always lived a full, busy life and didn’t focus on it too much. Suddenly one day I got on the scale and saw a number I had never seen before. That was it for me. Seeing that number was just what I needed to get myself in gear. I knew I had to make myself a priority and I did. I began working out a few times a week, changed some eating habits and incorporated Herbalife into my diet. I quickly started seeing results and couldn’t have been happier. It was like a new high for me to keep going and find new exercises I could try and feel good about. Along my own journey I began encouraging others to get motivated to make healthy changes in their own lives just by seeing the changes my body was going through. Having friends and family by my side has been the best part! I also found a love for the Pound workout. I got certified as a Pound Pro and teach classes a couple times a week in addition to showing up for my own workout. I’m happy to still be a work in progress and living the best life I can for me!

Tracy- I am a wife and a mother first, and that has been my life for a very long time.  I loved watching my husband play softball for many years.  Then, found fulfillment with my kid’s successes in the variety of sports that the 3 of them loved.  Their wellbeing was always priority and am proud to say they have learned a much healthier lifestyle than I had lived.   As any mother will tell you, sometimes taking care of a family will supersede taking care of yourself.  Over the years I had gained weight.  I found myself with new aches and pains that I did not feel I should be having at my age.  At some point it was time to change.  I dilly dallied around and lost a few pounds here and there but usually managed to put it back on.  Over the course of the last year or so I have found new passions in health and fitness.   I am feeling stronger than I have in a very long time.  This past summer I participated in Fitness on the Rocks and a 5k mud/obstacle course.  I have also done a few other 5ks over the last few years.  I LOVE IT!!   I am still on my own journey but find it is a way better journey if you have others along with you.  I am looking forward to helping others find new happiness in their lives.
